PhotoFacialSM is a proprietary treatment protocol developed by Dr. Bitter Sr. which consists of a series of Intense Pulsed Light treatments that improve the appearance of Rosacea, flushing, sun damaged skin, age spots, skin texture, and photo aging. Facial lines and wrinkles are caused by a gradual breakdown of the body's collagen and the elastin fibers in the skin. No one is immune from experiencing this normal aging process. Squinting, frowning and smiling also inflict stress on the underlying collagen in the skin and accelerate the formation of these furrows. Until recently, injectable collagen was the most widely used available cosmetic filler to improve the appearance of these lines. LASER HAIR REMOVAL
The light wavelength from the laser is absorbed by germinative cells that produce hair in the follicle. The follicle is heated and the germinative cells are destroyed. The laser is pulsed, or turned on, for only a fraction of a second. The duration of each pulse is just long enough to damage the follicle, while the system's ChillTip helps protect the skin by conductive cooling during the laser energy delivery. Dr. Patrick Bitter, Sr. participated in the FDA clinical trials for hair removal and has been performing this treatment since 1995.

LEG VEIN TREATMENTS
Sclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy was developed over 75 years ago and at present is one of the most prevalent treatments for spider and varicose veins. During the treatment, a sclerosing agent is injected into the vein through a tiny needle. Treatment can last from 15 minutes to 60 minutes, depending on the number of veins treated in a particular session. Upon injection, the solution replaces the blood in the vein, generating irritation and corrosion to the walls of the vessel. The body then initiates the natural healing process and the vein begins to shrink and eventually disappear.

Combination Therapy for Veins
These benign vascular lesions include enlarged blood vessels and capillaries that appear on the surface of the skin as splotches, dots, bulges and spider shapes. They can show up in a variety of colors ranging from red to purple to blue. Weakness in the walls and valves of the veins cause blood to stagnate rather than to be properly circulated. Some vascular lesions are so tiny that they are not visible under normal conditions. Others, such as varicose leg veins can be quite prominent.
