Microdermabrasion is an intense exfoliation process that rejuvenates the skin by utilizing ultra-fine purified crystals to remove the upper layer of the skin. At the same time, the hand piece of the machine contains a vacuum tube that that sweeps up both the crystals and dead skin cells. This process exfoliates the skin, stimulating the production of collagen which results in a firmer, smoother and more youthful looking skin. For gentler skin, a crystal-free treatment option is employed using a diamond tip that loosens the layers of dead skin cells that form on the surface and dull the skin's appearance.
